For beach lovers, there are various beaches a 15 minute drive away at Boleneuvo, Puerto de Mazarron and Isla Plana. Heading east will take you to the Mar Menor, the largest salt water lake in Europe, with water temperature several degrees warmer than the Med on the other side of the lagoon. The Condado de Alhama resort is part of the Nicklaus Golf Trail, a circuit which will provide 9 courses within a radius of 25km.
